Ensure you have your WorldVPN account credentials ready, including your username, password, and the server address. Find your assigned server address by logging into the VPN panel at https://www.worldvpn.net/client/login and navigating to the Servers menu. Note: For L2TP, use the preshared key "worldvpn".
Add VPN Configuration
Click the Start menu and go to Settings > Network & Internet > VPN.
Click "Add a VPN connection".
For VPN provider, select "Windows (built-in)".
For VPN type, select "L2TP/IPsec with pre-shared key".
Fill in Details
Connection name: Enter a name for the VPN connection (e.g., WorldVPN L2TP).
Server name or address: Find your assigned server address by logging into the VPN panel at https://www.worldvpn.net/client/login and navigating to the Servers menu.
Pre-shared key: Enter "worldvpn".
Type of sign-in info: Select "User name and password".
User name: Enter your WorldVPN username.
Password: Input your WorldVPN password (optional, you can enter it when connecting).
Check "Remember my sign-in info" if you want to save credentials.
Save Configuration
Click "Save" to save the VPN configuration.
Connect to WorldVPN
Activate VPN Connection: In the VPN settings page, click on the VPN connection you just created, then click "Connect".
Authenticate: If prompted, enter your username and password.
Alternatively, you can click the network icon in the system tray, select your VPN connection, and click "Connect".
Verify Connection
Once connected, you should see "Connected" status in the VPN settings or in the network icon in the system tray. You can also check your IP address to verify you're browsing through the VPN server.
